Hurricane Harvey Response

  • The Lee/Itawamba Baptist Association is planning to send a team to Orange TX to help with clean up and mud out next week. They will be leaving on Monday, September 11, 2017 and returning on Friday, September  15, 2017. On-the-job training will be provided. If you can help with this effort next week (or in coming weeks), please contact Thomas Nix at 862-2774.
  • The team will stay at North Orange Baptist Church and will need to bring sleeping gear such as cots or air mattresses (some cots are available at the Association Office in Tupelo). Each person will also need to bring linens–sheets, towels, etc. Meals and shower facilities will be provided. Box cutters, hammers, and flat bars will be useful in removing dry wall.
  • Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief is partially funded by the Margaret Lackey Offering.
